Having been a Personal Trainer for some time I know a lot of people struggle to do just one single pushup. Now I find this frustrating as I know how beneficial traditional Pushups are for building upper body strength as well as self confidence. They Work the Triceps, Pectoral Muscles or Pecs as well as shoulder and back muscles. However the benefits don’t stop there. When done with proper form they can also strengthen the lower back and core by engaging the abdominal muscles. Pushups certainly are a fantastic way to build strength fast. I encourage you to watch my beginners guide to doing pushups and then implement my routine and sequence into your daily regimen. In a very short space of time you will find yourself being able to progress through the programme culminating in you being able to complete one or more pushups. Ensuring you do the correct progressive exercises will help you to maintain correct form, technique and enable you to build the right amount of strength to allow you to complete the desire of being able to do a pushup.
